ANTF Kashmir carried out wild cannabis destruction drive | KNO

Srinagar, May 20 (KNO): Under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, a major destruction drive has been carried out at adjacent Bund area Nai Basti Anantnag, by Anti-Narcotics Task Force J&K in collaboration with Excise Department and social activists of Anantnag town. “The wild grown cannabis cultivation at many patches spread over approximately 04-06 Kanals of land were destroyed on spot. General public appreciated the role of ANTF Kashmir and have urged that such kind of destruction drives shall be carried out in future also,” a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). General Public are requested to come forward and join hands with the drug curbing agencies for carrying out such kind of destruction drives in near future also for making the society drug free, the statement reads—(KNO)
